Casechek has implemented a touchless Bill-Only payment automation system with NoTouchPOTM. Bill-Only, a crucial but broken process in the healthcare industry, refers to procuring patient-specific items for use during or near a medical procedure and invoicing them later. Casechek discovered that, on average, a Bill-Only PO could take eight days from requisition to PO and require manual touches from up to eight staff members across different departments. NoTouchPOTM is only possible for “clean” bills. A clean bill means the items submitted match item quantities in the EHR and prices in the item master.
