CEO and Founder
Matt founded Casechek when he couldn’t find a hospital that was happy with how they managed vendors and vendor inventory. Thanks to loyal customers and their amazing feedback, what started as simple software solution in December of 2014, is now a comprehensive platform and service used by leading institutions and healthcare systems across the country.
Prior to starting Casechek, Matt spent most of his career in sales and marketing roles for healthcare startups and medical device companies. He grew up in his favorite city, Toronto, Canada and somehow made his way to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. While at Miami, Matt played football and graduated with a double major in Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Management. Not to be outdone by his studious parents, Matt went back to school and earned his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Matt lives in Chicago’s West Loop with his amazing wife Margo, their four over-active children and Jost.
Director of Customer Success
Gretchen oversees Casechek’s customer operations to ensure every user gets the most out of the system. She works with our customers to install and leverage Casechek as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Gretchen earned her Bachelors of Science degree from Ole Miss with a degree in Biology Pre-Med and a minor in Business Administration. She resides in Chicago with her cat Toulouse.
SVP of Marketing
Betsy brings our customer's voice, challenges and opportunities to life. Before Casechek, Betsy spent >15 years leading marketing and commercial teams for healthcare companies such as GE Healthcare, Aon, and TRIMEDX. When not marketing, Betsy can be found boxing, lifting heavy things, wandering with her dogs, or reading.
Betsy graduated from Hillsdale College with a degree in Marketing and Management and earned her MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She resides in the Chicago burbs with her soon-to-be husband, three stepkids, and two fur babies.
VP of Corporate Operations
Heidi makes sure our platform is awesome and that everyone knows about it! She keeps the development team in line through sprint-segmented project management and rainbow colored flow charts. Heidi’s been to all seven continents and loves breakfast sandwiches.
Prior to joining us, Heidi spent 5 years at Stryker in quality engineering and business analytics. She coupled her biomedical engineering degree at Duke with a minor in art history and received her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Chief Wellness Officer
Labeled a visionary by his peers, Jost works tirelessly to improve the team’s mental wellness. Having perfected his work-life balance, Jost excels at the art of tail wagging, listening and sleeping. His unique and avant-garde approach to human interaction has elevated him to the top of his field.
Described as the nicest Chief Wellness Officer on earth, it’s no surprise Jost hails from Toronto, Canada. When not driving corporate happiness or reading, he enjoys yoga, long walks on the beach and spa days.
SVP of Product and Engineering
Steve ensures Casechek continues to bring an innovative lens to our customers' most difficult problems. Steve’s team is focused on ensuring the Casechek suite of cloud solutions deliver on our promise. Prior to Casechek Steve has worked with startups in healthcare, FinTech, EdTech and AI. When not pecking at the keyboard Steve likes fumbling around the kitchen spicing up new creations.
Steve graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Mathematics and concentration in Actuarial Science and received his MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He currently resides in the Chicago burbs spending a lot of his time on the field or at the ice rink coaching kid sports.

You will experience a wide variety of customer interactions every day, which will require you to think critically, demonstrate patience, empathy and sound decision-making skills. You should also be comfortable figuring out new technologies, mobile applications and computer systems.
As an Implementation Manager, you will be the face of the company, constantly driving the highest levels of client satisfaction through the successful installation of new and existing client accounts. We're looking for a Regional Vice President, Sales who will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition with Regional Hospitals, Health Systems, and IDN’s. In addition to net new logo’s, this role will also work closely with Customer Success to cross sell Casechek’s Payment solution to an existing customer base currently utilizing Casechek’s Procurement solution for vendor tray management and surgical case coordination. The RVP will own the strategy and development of new customer relationships in generating incremental contracted revenue in a given territory.

From procurement to payment, Casechek automates workflows for vendor supported surgical procedures. Our emergent Bill Only solution provides a comprehensive system of record for Hospitals and Health Systems to manage the complexity of surgical cases with implantable medical devices, expose hidden expenses and surface revenue opportunities.

We're looking for a Product Manager who loves messy challenges and is excited to take ownership of our newest product line. As Product Manager, you will work with business stakeholders, customers, user experience, engineering, and the product team to define, develop and deliver on product priorities, ensure effective rollout and measure the outcomes.
We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our collaboration-first team. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the outcomes of your team. You will collaborate with Product, UX, and Leadership to ensure the delivery of solutions for our customers. You will help the team focus on the product delivery roadmap and ensuring we continue to create high-quality software and great customer experiences. This role will be focused on Casechek’s frontend efforts.
We're looking for a UX Designer who loves solving tough usability challenges and is excited to take ownership of the user experience. You will collaborate with our UX lead, product and engineering to utilize the latest user research, synthesis, and validation techniques to define a results-driven strategy that meets all business and user requirements. You will then be responsible for executing that strategy by designing user-centric, simple, and engaging interfaces with the latest UX design practices.
Casechek’s current platform coordinates and manages implant related inventory for surgical procedures, but the entire implant supply chain is ripe for disruption. We’re building an expanded solution to automate the implant supply chain and bring greater transparency to the cost of patient care.
