Casechek is a fast growing health tech startup working with some of the biggest health systems in the US.

We're looking for a UX Designer who loves solving tough usability challenges and is excited to take ownership of the user experience. You will collaborate our UX lead, product and engineering to utilize the latest user research, synthesis, and validation techniques to define a results-driven strategy that meets all business and user requirements. You will then be responsible for executing that strategy by designing user-centric, simple, and engaging interfaces with the latest UX design practices.

Our team interacts with our healthcare customers to understand their needs and ultimately deliver the best user experience as possible.

• Passionate about user experience and elegant designs

• Have a deep understanding of design processes and methods developed through experience and you balance fidelity with agility based on the task at hand

• Strength is in User Experience (versus Visual Design / User Interface)

• High level of motivation and sense of urgency

• Comfortable taking ownership of your work with minimal oversight

• Excited to define the user experience in collaboration with the Product and Engineering teams

• Understand the balance of using qualitative and quantitative data to drive decisions

• Lead design iterations, incorporates user feedback and evolve designs with each iteration.

• Represent the voice of the user in the overall product development process.

• Collaborate with Product team on discovery activities with Casechek’s customer base and designing and improving the customer experience across the full product journey.

• Develop prototypes to test with customers and internal users and to deliver requirements to engineering.

• Iteratively incorporates user feedback into designs.

• Participate in Product Development projects in collaboration with Product Managers and Engineering team members.

• Owning Casechek’s Design Library for web and mobile applications

• Bachelor's Degree - design, visual studies or relevant experience preferred

• Must have a design portfolio

• 3+ years of experience designing products at business-to-business product companies (healthcare or logistic management B2B preferred).

• Ability to effectively and directly collaborate with engineers in the day-to-day with using practices such as design pairing.

• Strong proficiency with user-centered design practices and design thinking.

• Proficiency in Figma

• Technical background with knowledge of Web standards preferred (e.g. HTML, CSS, Javascript)
