    THE OPPORTUNITY

    Casechek is on a mission to innovate the implant supply chain and bring greater transparency to the cost of patient care. From procurement to payment, Casechek automates workflows for vendor supported surgical procedures. Our emergent Bill Only solution provides a comprehensive system of record for Hospitals and Health Systems to manage the complexity of surgical cases with implantable medical devices, expose hidden expenses and surface revenue opportunities.

    As Casechek’s Data Analytics Manager you will lead our data strategy, from data architecture to advanced analytics. As a leader of the Data team, you will play a critical role in shaping and developing Casechek’s data strategy and analytics offerings. The Data Analytics Manager will work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to guide the company's roadmap and strategy as it relates to analytics, data engineering, data science, governance, and architecture. This role is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and results-oriented leader who is passionate about driving data strategy in a healthcare tech organization.

    ABOUT YOU
    • Proven data leader with experience building and scaling data offerings and teams in the healthcare tech space.
    • Highly motivated and thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Lead, mentor, develop and scale Casechek’s Data team.
    • Own the creation of projects to improve the usability, scalability, efficiency, and security of Casechek’s data resources.
    • Lead Casechek’s data architecture and data engineering strategy, leveraging data lakehouse architecture (Databricks) to optimize our data structure for reporting and transparency.
    • Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
    • Develop data standards and documentation best practices for reports and data processes and deploy automation tools to streamline data processing and delivery.
    • Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables.
    • Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in Leadership, Technology, Sales, Marketing and Product teams.
    • Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in Casechek’s analytics processes.
    • Design and develop systems for the maintenance of the business’s data lakehouse, ETL processes, and business intelligence.
    • Collaborate with Customer Success and Product teams to increase value captured at accounts.
    • Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.
    REQUIREMENTS
    • 5+ years of experience building and leading data teams within the healthcare industry.
    • Strong leadership skills and a track record of managing and motivating high-performing teams.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to change and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Competency in data scripting and querying languages such as Python and SQL.
    • Knowledge of BI Tools like Tableau.
    • Proficiency in data lakehouse architecture and design, Databricks preferred.
    • Experience with building and automating data pipelines from various applications.
    • Experience as a subject matter expert in the healthcare industry, experience with hospital EMR and ERP, data strongly preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
