Insights and Highlights from Casechek’s 2024
As we welcome 2025 and close out our company reflection on 2024, we want to take a moment to share some highlights from a year of remarkable growth, innovation, and achievement at Casechek. Over the past year, we have worked tirelessly in healthcare supply chain innovation, automation, and collaboration, helping our clients overcome challenges and seize new opportunities.
Milestones and Recognitions
This last year Casechek became a Workday Innovation Partner. This prestigious recognition strengthened our integrations and solutions for Workday clients, granting us access to user communities, improved client testing environments, and participation in Workday Rising.
Our CEO, Matt Brandt, was appointed Co-Chair of SMI’s Key Strategic Collaboration Council. In this role, he has championed supplier-provider collaboration and UDI adoption, furthering Casechek’s advocacy for industry-wide transparency and efficiency.
Congratulations to the entire Casechek team for achieving Workday Innovation Partner status, a testament to your dedication and innovation! 2024 by the Numbers
Sometimes it can be hard to pause and look at the impact you make. 2024 was Casechek’s most successful year thus far!
• Casechek facilitated 1,740,256 surgical cases in 2024.
• Auto-Assign, our fully-automated vendor support system helped customers confirm surgical support 29.3 days earlier than manual processes.
○ With manual vendor management, vendors confirmed support 9.2 days pre-surgery; versus Auto-Assign where vendors confirmed support 38.5 days pre-surgery.
• Our Bill-Only Payment platform processed 48,101 purchase orders and $260,601,512 in surgical spend.
• No-TouchPO™, our fully-automated Bill-Only payment solution, handled 21,322 (44%) of the above Bill-Only cases, automating bills from procedure to PO without human intervention.
Industry Insights
Before going live with a new deployment, we conduct a baseline assessment using our customers’ historic data. Through our baseline assessments with over 100 hospitals, we have uncovered:
• 8% of all Bill-Only spend was undocumented in the EHR.
• 37% of Bill-Only data was incomplete or inaccurate.
• 7 business days – the average amount of time between surgery and Bill-Only PO dispatch
